The Gard N Gro Pre Filter is used in conjunction with the Dechlorinator. This filter is highly recommended if you have sediment or particulate matter in your water source. The pre filter will trap the particles before the water enters the Gard N Gro, which will help to extend the life of your dechlorinator.
